Your Civic Association needs more members & newsletter ads

Ninety-three percent (93%) of our budget goes toward the publication and distribution of the newsletter and the maintenance of the common areas within North Springfield. These expenses are rising and more revenue is needed in order to sustain the level of service provided to the community. Our membership is slowly declining and it does not reflect the ethnic diversity that is North Springfield. Currently the Civic Association is supported by less than one-fourth of the families in North Springfield; we would like to see that percentage much higher. We would also like to see more representation and participation from each of the ethnic groups represented in our community. Thank you to those who support the association each year; please enlist a neighbor who is not a supporter to join the Civic Association as well.

We also encourage anyone who lawfully operates a home business within North Springfield to consider placing an ad in our newsletter. Many of our residents would prefer to use neighborhood services but they don’t know what’s available.
